If you have been on my sight for long you will see that I love these little boxes so I don’t think a holiday will be able to pass without a new rendition of it:) And I just love conversation heart crafts so it just seemed to sense 🙂
SUPPLIES TO GATHER FOR PROJECT…
10 1/2″ * 10 1/2″ piece of cardstock for bottom of box
9 1/2″ * 9 1/2″ piece of cardstock for top of box
3″ square piece of scrapbook paper for layer under conversation hearts
3 1/8″ square piece of scrapbook paper for 2nd layer under conversation hearts
Four 5/8″ * 4″ for strips sides of the top of the box
OPTIONAL- 3″ square piece of scrapbook paper for inside bottom box
Hot glue conversation hearts unto 3″ piece of paper. Just use a small amount of hot glue behind each conversation heart so that it doesn’t ooze up around it. Then adhere this piece unto the 3 1/8″ piece of paper.
Adhere strips of paper unto the side of boxes, folding the end a little bit over the next side to cover then repeat. Tuck the last end under the beginning of the first strip to complete. Then hot glue hearts on each side.
Then if you want to give it a more finished look, add a 3″ square of scrapbook paper to the bottom of the box!
For a nice little gift, fill it with LEMON, CHERRY, BLUEBERRY, and PEACH CAKE BALLS! They are nice and easy but oh so cute.
