This fun little project started as locker accessories for Lily and quickly led to some adorable inexpensive handmade gifts that will be great for friends, hostesses, and teachers! We even created some free downloadable gift tags for you 🙂
We started this venture at Family Dollar and for less then $2, we purchased some brightly colored magnetic chip clips.
We thought they would be perfect in Lily’s locker to hold a small notepad or some fun friend photos but…oh my they are so plain so we decided to pull out our scrapbooking supplies and dress them up a bit which turned out to be super fun and a perfect project to use up all those scrapbooking odds and ends!
Washi tape, bits of ribbon, clips, mini tags and hot glued buttons and bows worked lovely!
Add a little or a lot! Are you feeling frilly?!!! Then add some tulle 🙂
Lily had fun printing out some of her favorite summer pictures, adding some fun scrapbook paper and then clipping up her locker with her fashionable new clips. 🙂
Since we had so much fun, we bought some more and just kept on tinkering which led me to thinking… they would make a great gift! So I doodled up some CLIP IT…in style gift cards perfect to clip three clips on and give as a hostess gift, teacher gift, or just a fun thinking of you gift for a friend. 🙂
Just print out out our free clip it tags on cardstock and then mat with a bright colored cardstock to coordinate with your clips! 🙂
