Fruit Smoothie Recipes

orange yogurt smoothie

Whether you are looking for a great healthy snack or a quick refreshing meal replacement, I am willing to bet you will love my family’s favorite fruit smoothie recipes!  We usually just throw a bunch of our favorite things in a Magic Bullet cup, blend for a few seconds, and then top of with a quick spray of whip cream to top it all off, but we had a day of taste testing to perfect each of our favorite blends when we decided it would be fun to share on Joyful Daisy  πŸ™‚

To make it really easy for the kids and also when we are whipping up a bunch of different flavors I have to say my favorite tool is my mini Magic Bullet blender.  If you don’t have one, you might want to check it out.  This allows you to whip up a drink right in a cup you can serve it in. πŸ™‚  Just an FYI, it is also great to travel with.  I just throw some of my favorite protein powder in with some ice and water for a quick breakfast on the go.  And for hotels that offer breakfast, you can throw in a little fruit too πŸ™‚

Cut out menus about 1/4″ from blue boarder.  Mark the center of the menu and then punch holes 1/2″ on both sides of that mark.

Cut 8″ pieces of ribbon. ( I love using grosgrain ribbon for projects like this.)  Thread both ends of the ribbon through the holes creating the center loop.

Now thread each end of ribbon through the opposite hole and pull to the front.

Fold each end of the ribbon in half lengthwise and cut at a diagonal- start on folded edge and cut to tip where the ends meet to create the cute cut at the end of each ribbon.

Now that you see how healthy these recipes are and how easy these menus are to make, you better make some calls and invite some friends over to share!  EnJOY and STAY HAPPY my friends πŸ™‚
